Vocoder

Vocoder is a collection of poems about transmission loss and reconstruction: between people, between a perception and the perceived, and between our bodies and our self.

Daniel is a writer and data scientist living in Ashland, OR with his wife and their two kids. He writes poetry and nonfiction, makes games and synthesizers, and reads a lot. His work has been published in a dozen or so small presses and he won the Kay Snow award in 2009. His first book of poems, Tensegrity, was self-published in 2024.
