Saturday, May 16 • 11:00am – 7:00pm

Fringe Hub • 150 Winburn Way, Ashland

Take dreams of fantasy to tales of tails, some with a twist of fate, a twist of balloons, puns galore, imagination magic, audience participation, and you have a punch bowl of family fun! Come and join the punchline.

Marty the Magic Jewell has a theater degree from Beloit college. Add to that some clowning, miming, magic, balloon twisting, storytelling, puppets and you’ll get a family-oriented multifaceted Jewell of a performer. She has done school, church, library and festival shows for the last 40 years. Originally from Chicago area, then Denver area, she moved to Medford a few years ago to be close to grandkids, and their parents. Now retired from regular employment, she is a professional volunteer with Storytellers Guild. Last Summer she performed magic on stage at Children’s Festival. A highlight of her past was performing at the Boulder (Colorado) Fringe Festival. She’s now very excited to do the Ashland Fringe Festival.
