Siskiyou Violins

Siskiyou Violins began as a small group of advanced violin students from Faina Podolnaya’s music studio in Ashland, Oregon. Under Ms Podolnaya’s direction, they quickly progressed from playing occasional ensemble pieces at student recitals to earning all gold medals at their first international competition at Carnegie Hall in 2005. 

Siskiyou Violins fosters excellence in life through excellence in music: we help talented young students pursue their passion for violin through inspired teaching, high expectations, self-discipline, and appreciative recognition. We provide opportunities to perform in concerts in Southern Oregon and beyond, and in competitive festivals globally. Most recently, Siskiyou Violins earned second place in Vienna at the 2024 Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival in 2024.
