Old Man Punching Bubbles

Michael Reinsch will stand in the grass surrounded by bubble machines and audience members wielding bubble wands. As bubbles fill the air he will punch them in an attempt to pop them all. While punching bubbles a poem will be generated on the fly about propaganda.

Michael Reinsch is multidisciplinary artist based in Gold Hill, Oregon,  He earned a BFA (2001) in painting and drawing as well as an MFA (2009) in Visual Studies from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Reinsch’s work incorporates performance and activated sculptural props to explore human connection and disconnection, often through themes of celebration and melancholy.
