Let the Light In

Saturday, May 16 • 5:00pm – 5:45pm

Rockafairy Stage • 150 Winburn Way, Ashland

“Breathe like you’re learning to let the light in.” This collection of original songs tells a tale of finding the courage to look for the light even in the darkest of times. The stories spun in this eclectic set of live music touch on heart ache and struggles with mental health, acknowledging how healing begins once one chooses to let the light in.

Tatjana Luce began her musical career as a classical clarinetist, branching out into songwriting after graduating from Southern Oregon University in 2021 with a degree in music. Her songs were heavily inspired by nature and the outdoors when she lived in a van with her now husband, Geo Betus. She began performing her original songs live in August of 2023 and has built a local rapport spreading messages of love through her music. Geo has been a recent addition to her live performances, inspiring more creative expression with her songs. Tatjana is in the process of recording her first album, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Music Business at Southern New Hampshire University to expand her project further. Tatjana can be found singing with the Southern Oregon Repertory Singers and playing saxophone and clarinet in several local bands outside of her songwriting project.
