A Sea of Stars

Hello and welcome to my Fringe Fest vignette!! My name is Sylvia Lambley, and I am a folk artist hailing from Portland, Oregon. I adore the Pacific Northwest, and my music is influenced by my youth and early adulthood spent here. After graduating from a tiny Waldorf high school, I chose to travel and release my second album Papercut, before coming to pursue a degree in Music Production and Vocal performance at SOU right here in Ashland (where I am currently wrapping up my 3rd year). I play around the town with my band The Cleopatras, and am fortunate enough to explore different facets of music every day in my undergraduate studies. My community here is something I am constantly grateful for, and I’m thrilled to be continuing the path of music and sharing it in a place that feels so accepting and creatively vital. Shoutout to my wonderful parents for always supporting me, and to my Dog Chutney and my cat Apollo for being lights in my world.
